Favorite casual pair

I've had specter for over 2 years now and love those but, these have become my favorite for casual wearing. I use specter for work and active recreation.

Amazing

Great build great under aviation bose headphones with the thin arm it does not mess with the active noise cancellation. I was able to adjust the tightness and pressure they initially had on my head out of the box by watching the adjustment video. Overall my favorite sunglasses ever. I will never use another brand

Great Glasses

The clarity of glass is incredible. Ease of adjustment like most Gatorz frames make them the most comfortable everyday glasses. They are outstanding in direct sunlight and low light conditions.

Easily scratched lense on first day

10/10 Sunglasses; highly recommend!

TLDR; best sunglasses I’ve owned, lenses are phenomenal, the shape (front and sides) don’t fatigue my face or cause pressure when I wear them all day, they also look great. Appear to be serviceable as well (not confirmed). Pricing competitive if not a bit cheaper than other similar style manufacturers, military discount is generous. I purchased the Rig Polarized to replace my Smith Lowdown 2 and Lowdown Steel. Previously I had Costa Rincons and Oakley Holbrooks which I still use the Holbrook Rx for reading but might also switch to Gatorz. That being said I wanted to try something different after the Smiths because I thought those were solid but had lens issues with them that I warrantied twice. After the last issue with Smith I needed to swap brands and saw some Gatorz and the store. I originally dismissed them because I thought they were just ballistic optics but then I saw the Deltas in the store and tried them on. They felt great and looked good, unfortunately they only had non polarized lenses in the store so I checked out their website and was pleasantly surprised with their selection. At the top of the list was the Rig (which I couldn’t find in any store in San Diego) but they looked similar to the frame style I like. So I ordered them and figured if I didn’t like them I would just exchange them for the Deltas. Right out the gate they just felt great, no lift or shifting, just planted. The lenses even look like they have a clean beveled cut instead of some rough cuts that are hidden inside the frame like other sunglass companies. The metal frames even allow for adjustments for different sized heads and whatnot. I made a very light adjustment and now they’re just amazing feeling. Can’t recommend enough! Would definitely buy again!

Rig’s are the best from Gatorz

The RIG is my 3rd style from Gatorz. By far the best fitting, most comfortable glasses yet. Awesome design and amazing feel.

Best pair yet

These, by far, are my favorite pair. Great fit, no fog and just perfect. Took a risk on the gold lenses and now they’re my go-to.

Disappointment

I bought after a long time, some gatorz glasses for my birthday, however they were lost on the way and never arrived. I know that the warranty does not cover shipments through other companies, I read it in the policies from the beginning, but it gave me the impression that the answer they gave me to my problem, was only to support each other and there was never a real intention to help me. I am very disappointed, and I will certainly not buy through the page again. This is how an excellent quality product is ruined by a terrible after-sales service.

Gatorz Rig

Great fit right out the box. Very little adjustment needed. “Big Boy” friendly! These have taken the place of my Marauders. I’m giving the Rig 4 stars due to the fact one of the lens was not sitting right in the corner, but was easily pushed in. I do hear a pop now and then. Not a deal breaker. Customer service offered to return/replace, but I decided I didn’t want to deal with the hassle and the down time without them. I chose non polarized due to screen issues. Will go OPZ next time. I’m keeping an eye on the Cerokote finish. Looks like it’s starting to rub/fade. Overall great sunglasses!
